The 114th Welsh Cross Country Championships will return to Singleton Park in Swansea on Saturday 24th February 2018. The event will incorporate the Welsh Masters Cross Country Championships and a Primary Schools Challenge event for under 11 athletes.

Bydd Pencampwriaeth Traws Gwlad Cymru yn dychwelyd i Barc Sinlgeton yn Abertawe ar Ddydd Sadwrn 24ain Chwefror 2018 am yr 114eg tro ac yn cynnwys cystadlu i athletwyr o bob oedran.

** CLOSING DATE for the championships is 4.30pm on Thursday 15th February. Y DYDDIAD CAU ar gyfer cofrestru ydi 4.30yp ar Ddydd Iau 15fed o Chwefror. **

The course at Sinlgeton Park has a great history of hosting Cross Country racing and is always a popular venue because of it's undulating terrain and scenic landscape. In 2017 having escaped the fierce storms that had been predicted for the weekend, Dewi Griffiths (Swansea Harriers) and Beth Kidger (Brighton Phoenix) took the Welsh titles, with former Carmarthen Harrier Griffiths recording a sixth consecutive Welsh cross country title to move a step closer to Steve Jones' record of nine in total.

Ciaran Lewis (Cardiff AAC), Cari Hughes (Menai Track & Field), Matthew Willis (Wrexham AC), Mike Spill (Menai Track & Field), Mia Roberts (Deeside AAC), Jacob Reynolds (Cardiff AAC) and Eden Williams (Cardiff AAC) all won their respective junior age groups the last time out.

Venue/Lleoliad: Singleton Park, Swansea, West Glamorgan, SA2 8PY
